This was the first double deck bus on Hong Kong Island in the year 1963. It can take 84 passengers, with 74-seat and 10-stand. The route No.2 serviced from Cleverly street to Shau Kei Wan.

Also the one and only one of this model Dennis Loline III was landed on Hong Kong Island. It was because an unknown technical problem with an unexpected sharp noise sound issued from the axle during the riding. 

In fact, CMB was ordered 2 Dennis Loline III initially. Since no one knows the reason why and can't solve out this problem until the bus retired, the second one was cancelled. Therefore, CMB company had just got this one Dennis Loline III serviced in his big bus team.

後記：在記憶當中，圖中(upper photo)所見Dennis Loline III 的閘門應該不是原裝的車門，記得初期Dennis Loline III車門是單一式的一面氣壓開關燙門，而不是標準左右兩邊開關的四葉式摺門。

Very special post service, post a kid in 1913

This city letter carrier posed for a humorous photograph with a young boy in his mailbag. After parcel post service was introduced in 1913, at least two children were sent by the service. With stamps attached to their clothing, the children rode with railway and city carriers to their destination. The Postmaster General quickly issued a regulation forbidding the sending of children in the mail after hearing of those examples.

故事

周瑜與諸葛亮的一段精彩經典對話。

周瑜十分嫉妒諸葛亮的才智，總想找藉口殺他．在一次宴會上，周瑜對諸葛亮說：

「孔明先生，我吟首詩你來對，對出來有賞，對不出殺頭問罪如何？」

諸葛亮從容笑道：「軍中無戲言，請都督說。」

周瑜大喜，開口便道：

「有水便是溪，　無水也是奚，

　去掉溪邊水，　加鳥便是雞；

　得志貓兒勝過虎，　落魄鳳凰不如雞。」

諸葛亮聽罷，心中暗想，自己身為蜀國軍師，今日落入周瑜之手，豈不是「落魄鳳凰」嗎?

便立即吟詩以對：

「有木便是棋，　無木便是其，

　去掉棋邊木，　加欠便是欺；

　龍遊淺水遭蝦戲，　虎落平陽被犬欺。」

周瑜聞言大怒，魯肅早已留意這場龍虎鬥，見周都督意欲爆發，急忙勸解道：

「有水也是湘，　無水也是相，

　去掉湘邊水，　加雨便是霜；

　各人自掃門前雪，　莫管他人瓦上霜。」

風波平息了，周瑜怒氣未消，他更換內容，又吟詩一首：

「有手便是扭，　無手卻是丑，

　去掉扭邊手，　加女便是妞；

　隆中有女長得丑，　江南没有更醜妞。」

諸葛亮聽了知道這話是在嘲笑自己的夫人黃阿醜長得丑，便立即應道：

「有木便是橋，　無木也是喬，

　去掉橋邊木，　加女便是嬌；

　江东美女大小喬，　銅雀奸雄鎖二嬌。」

周瑜知道這話是在奚落自己的夫人，怒髮沖冠，幾次都想發作。

劍拔弩張之時，魯肅在一邊和了句：

「有木便是槽，　無木也是曹，

　去掉槽邊木，　加米便是糟；

　當今之計在破曹，　龍虎相鬥豈不糟！」

詩罷眾人一齊喝彩。周瑜見魯肅調解，無奈只好收場。
